How to get to Sziget Festival

Public transport is usually the easiest way to reach the festival.

The closest suburban railway stop is Filatorigát, which is served by the H5 suburban railway line. From the station, follow the signs and the festival crowd towards the entrance.

Travelling from central Budapest, you can take Metro Line 2 to Batthyány tér, then change to the H5 suburban railway towards Filatorigát.

The official Sziget travel information recommends using the BudapestGO app to plan journeys, purchase public transport tickets and check current travel information. Festival-related schedules and traffic arrangements may change, so always check the app shortly before travelling.

Getting to Sziget from the airport

Visitors arriving at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport have several options.

The 100E Airport Express runs directly between the airport and Deák Ferenc tér in the city centre. From there, take Metro Line 2 to Batthyány tér and change to the H5 suburban railway towards Filatorigát.

Visitors with a valid Sziget CityPass by Budapest Card may also be able to use the dedicated airport shuttle travelling directly between the airport and the festival. Check the official Sziget website for the latest conditions and departure information.
